Welcome to The Hopton Hall Gallery, Ashbourne
Hopton Hall Gallery is where heritage and contemporary creativity meet in the heart of Derbyshire. Located in Ashbourne, it is part of the Hopton Hall Estate known for its gardens, historic restoration, growing art collection, and Month of Art competition.
Owners and custodians of the Hopton Hall Estate, Chris and Andi Harvey, founded the gallery in April 2026 with the aim of building something that connects centuries of craftsmanship with the artists shaping today's landscape - both in the gallery's vision and in the 18th century building on St. John Street it calls home.
Thoughtfully restored and adapted to welcome visitors, the gallery building combines period character with modern light and openness. It is an intimate space where art can both be purchased and be used to inspire.
At Hopton Hall Gallery, you will find an ever-changing programme of exhibitions and events, and a showcase for award-winning artists.
Whether you are a collector, a curious visitor, or someone who's never stepped inside a gallery before, you are welcome here.
